Falaasama natoo Oromo keessatti, hubannoo (understanding) fi hiikaan (interpretation) kan addunyaa (of the world), kan mataa ofii (of oneself) fi kan uummata biraa (other people) yaadrimee waa’ee “JIREENYA” irraa jalqaba. Kana jechuun, hubannoo fi hiikaan kan UUMAA, kan WAAQA fi kan SAFUU bu’urisaanii yaadrimee “JIREENYA” jedhu dha. Keessattiyyuu, Jiruu-fi-Jireenya-Nama (Ontological Characterstics of Human Being) wiirtuu falaasama natoo Oromo dha. Maqaan “JIREENYA” jedhu hundee “JIR” jedhu irra argame; “JIR”—ta’uu ykn jiraachuu ykn le’uu—to be, to exist. (Karl Eric Knutsson, 1967: 59). Yaadrimeen waliigala kan JIREENYA, jirachuu waan hundumaa sana ibsa.

Haa ta’u malee, jecha JIREENYA jedhu kana yoommu waa’ee “JIREENYA” dhala nama ibsuuf itti fayyadamnu, hiika biraa ykn hiika dabalataa of-keessatti qabaata. Falaasama natoo Oromo keessatti, yaadrimee “Jiruu-fi-Jireenya-Nama” malee, waa’een “Jireenya-Nama” hin beekamu. Akkuma “Jiruu-fi-Jireenya-Saree” ykn “Jiruu-fi-Jireenya-Mukaa” ykn “Jiruu-fi-Jireenya-Dhagaa” hin-jirre, wantti “Jireenya-Nama” jedhamee beekamu abadan hin-jiru. Yaadrimeen kan “Jireenya-Namaa”, yeroo hundumaa, maqaa “JIRUU” (activity) jedhuun dursaama. Waliingaan (conjuction) “FI” jedhu; bakkayyuu Jireenyi dhala nama Jiruu-isaa-irra addaan ba’ee kophaa jiraachuu akka hin dandeenye agarsiisa.

Dhali-namaa sababa JIRUU isaa-irraan kan ka’e, amala adda qaba. Jiruu-fi-Jireenya-Nama, jireenya neefkaa ykn jireenya muka irra adda dha. Fkn, namni gaafa jiraatu akka adurreetti hin jiraatu! Sababni isaa Ayyaanni dhali nama ganama ittiin uumamee namummaa (manness) malee adurruummaa (catness) waan hin taa’neefi dha.

Sababa kanaaf, falaasama natoo Oromo keessatti, SAFUU jechuun garaagarumaa “Jiruu-fi-Jireenya-Nama” fi “Jiruu-Waan-Tokko” (jiruu “X” ykn jiruu “Y”) sirritti addaan baasaanii beeku jechuu dha. Beekumsi kun beekumsa eenyummaa waa tokkoti dha. Eenyummaa waan tokko kan murteessu Ayyaana dha. Eenyummaa waan tokko beekun, Ayyaana waanti sun ganama ittin uumaame beeku dha. Safuu cabsuun Dhugaa-Ganama (Primoridial-Truth) kana jallisuu ykn dabsuu dha. Dhugaa-Ganama dabsuu jechuun, seera uumamaa cabsuu ykn diiguu jechu dha. Seera uumamaaf abboomamuun Ayyaana fi Uumaa walitti araarsuu ykn walitti atoomsuu dha. Karaan Ayyaana fi Uumaa walitti maganasnu ykn ararsinu kun Safuu jedhamee beekama.

Dirqamni Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa kan jalqabaa, gama Safuutiin, Ayyaana fi Uumaa walitti araarsuudhaan dalagaa kan Waaqayyo keessatti hirmaachuu dha. Dhaabbtuumaan Ayyaana fi har’umeen Uumaa kan walfaalleessu faakkaatullee, xinjireenyi Oromo gaafii yaachisaa falaasama kanaaf deebii ga’aa kennee jira. Gaafiin le’ii fi bilisummaa ykn rakkoon jijjiirama fi dhaabbatummaa karaa yadrimee kan Safuutiin injifatama.

Safuun gaafiiwwaan ambiiroo kan falaasama xinjireenya Oromo keessa jiraniif deebii waliigala kan kennu xinbeekumsa natoo Oromoo dha. Safuu eeguun hariiroo ykn walitti dhufeenya Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa UUMAA fi AYYAANA wajjin qabu BEEKU dha:-

  1. hariiroo Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa UUMAA wajjin qabachuu qabu fi;
  2. hariiroo Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa AYYAANA wajjin qabachuu qabu.

Hariiroo Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa UUMAA wajjin qabachuu qabu kallattii afur qaba:-

(I) hariiroo Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa UUMAMAA (creation) wajjin qabachuu qabu;
(II) hariiroo Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa HAWAASA (society) wajjin qabachuu qabu;
(III) hariiroo  Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa MAATII (family) wajjin qabachuu qabu fi;
(IV) hariiroo Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa MATAYYAA (individual) wajjin qabachuu qabu dha. Walitti dhufeenyi Jiruu-fi-Jireenyi-Nmaa Uumaamaa, Hawaasa, Maatii fi Matayyaa wajjin qabu SEERA-NAMA jedhame beekama.

Gama biraatiin, hariiroo Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa AYYAANA wajjin qabu SEERA-WAAQA jedhama. Seeri Waaqa murtaa’aa, kan hin-jijjiiramne fi jalqabaa fi dhuma kan hin qabne dha. Seeri-Waaqaa addunyeessa (universal) dha. Dhali nama beekumsa Seera-Waaqaa kana wajjin dhalata (innate). Beekumsa kan Seera-Waaqa addunyeessa fi abdachiisaa (amanamaa) kan isa godhu yaadrimee sabni Oromo waa’ee Ayyaana-irratti qabu dha.

Maddi Ayyaana Waaqayyo dha. Humni Waaqa irra maddu (Vital-Force) kun Ayyaana jedhama. Ayyaani hirmeemmii (fraction) kan Waaqa ta’ee, karaa itti Waaqayyo of-ibsuu fi caasaa ykn naqa inni Uumaamaa, Hawaasa, Maatii fi Matayyaa irra kaa’uu dha. (Dahal, 1996: 170). Safuu eeguu jechuun caasaa Waaqayyo ganama Uumaa irra kaa’ee kana Seera-Namaa (Jiruu fi Jireenya Namaa) wajjin rakkoo malee jiraachuu akka danda’au yaalii hunda gochu dha. Caaraaqi ykn yaalii hunda gochuu gaafa jedhamu, Seera-Waaqa fi Seera-Namaa giddu maadala ykn wal-ta’iinsi akka jiraatuuf, wantoota Uumaa keessa jiran mara iddoosaanii malee kaa’uu akka hin qabne agarsiisuufidha. Ayyaana waan tokko ganama ittiin uumame ganuun ykn haaluun, waan sana iddo isaa malee kaa’uu dha.

Waan Uumaa keessa jiruu hundi sirnaan kan naqame dha. Seera Uumamaa ykn Seera-Waaqa kanaaf abboomamuun, Safuu eeguu dha. Safuu eeguun dirqama Jiruu fi Jireenya-Namaa dha. Bu’uuri ykn yayyabni Seera-Namaa Safuu dha. Sababni isaa, Safuun hin tumamu. Seerri-Namaa garuu ni tumama. Kanaafidha ‘seerri hundi Safuu mini’ kan jennu. Safuu eeguun Seerri-Namaa (Uumaa) fi Seerri-Waaqa (Ayyaana) akka wal-simatu ykn akka wal fudhatu gochuu dha. Jiruu fi Jireeny Namaa dirqama Safuu kana hojii irra oolchuu irratti naanna’a ykn xiyyeeffata.

Haa ta’u malee, sababa dirqama Safuu hojii irra-oolchuu kana-irra kan ka’e, yerro baay’ee Jiruu fi Jireenyi Namaa keessatti waldiddaa ykn waliigaluu dhabuun ni jiraata. Keessattu, addaddummaan hubannoo fi “beekumsa” namoonni dhuunfa qaban irra waan madduuf, Seera-Waaqa fi Seera-Namaa wal-simsiisuu irratti gufuu ta’e jira. Namoota adda-adda gidduutti waltti bu’insa ykn qoccolloo jabaan akka uumaamuuf sababni inni jalqaba DHUGAA-GANAMA hubachuu dhabuu dha. Sababa kanaanis, waa’een Jiruu fi Jireenya-Namaa hiikheddee (pluralistic interpretation of ontological characterstic of human being) waan qabaatuuf hubannoo ykn ilaacha dogoggora keessa nama galcha.

Xinjireenyi Oromo rakkoo addaddumma hubannoo ilaalchaa kanaaf haala milkaa’en furmaata itti kenne jira. Tooftaan ykn malli kan qorannoo nuti rakoo kana ittin injifannu ILAA-FI-ILAAMEE jedhamee beekama. Falaasama kan Ilaa-fi-Ilaamee guutuummaatti qorachuuf, jalqaba waa’ee Gumii Gaayoo (sirna Gadaa) gad fageenyaan ibsuun yaala.

Yoseph Mulugeta Baba is a qubbee generation born in Eastern Wollega, Konchi/Nekemte, Ethiopia. He holds a B.A, M.A, and Ph.D. degrees in Philosophy from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), Nairobi-Kenya. He also holds a B.D, in Sacred Theology (Magna Cum Laude Probatus) from Pontifical Urbaniana University, Rome. His research interests involve: Metaphilosophy, Oromo Philosophy, Continental Philosophy, Post-colonial African Philosophy, Sage Philosophy, and Post-modernism.
